Hey Everyone!
Today, we had a combined class with Vignesh sir and Harish sir. It was an exciting session as they introduced us to a new concept: Tinkercad.
Since many of us were not familiar with Tinkercad, Hari sir walked us through its features and showed us how to use it. He also demonstrated how to create a simple keychain using the app.
Here's what we learned:
- Introduction to Tinkercad
- Tinkercad is an easy-to-use, web-based app for 3D design, electronics, and coding. It's perfect for beginners and allows us to create designs and models right in our web browser.
- Getting Started with Tinkercad
- We created accounts and logged into Tinkercad.
- Hari sir showed us the basic interface and tools available in Tinkercad.
- Creating a Keychain
- We learned how to use shapes and text tools to design a keychain.
- Hari sir demonstrated how to adjust the size, position, and rotation of shapes.
- We explored how to combine different shapes to make a unique keychain design.
- Saving and Exporting Designs
- Once our keychain designs were complete, we learned how to save and export our projects for 3D printing.
It was a fun and informative session, and now we have a new tool in our creative arsenal. Happy tinkering! 🚀

What We Did Next:
- Creating Our Own Keychains
- Using the knowledge from the demonstration, we started designing our keychains in Tinkercad.
- Working on Prototypes
- We worked on the three prototypes we had decided on in the previous session.
- Showing Our Work to Sir
- Before proceeding, we showed and explained our designs to sir to get his approval and feedback.
- Taking a Break
- We took a short break and went to the washroom before continuing our work.
It was a productive session, and we learned a lot about using Tinkercad and creating our own designs. Now we are all set to refine our prototypes and bring our ideas to life! 🚀

and then this session is over .
